MANILA: Malaysia maintained their superiority in netball in the Sea Games with a 48-42 win over Singapore in the final at the Santa Rosa Sports Complex today.

The Malaysian women, who were the defending champions, clinched their third gold in four Sea Games since netball was introduced.

Though Singapore looked impressive in the opening two quarters, Malaysia eventually stamped their superiority.

National coach Tracey Robinson said: “The girls produced a strong performance and were tight in all departments to hold a healthy lead.”
