KUALA LUMPUR: Serial winner Winnie Ng has struck again.
She captured the 45th Royal Selangor Golf Club (RSGC) Ladies Amateur Open title over the weekend.
Winnie carded 75-72-70 for a two-under for a three-day total of 217. Second was Australian Sarah Wilson with a 218.
Winnie also took home a gold necklace with diamonds worth RM2,500 for winning.
The 18-year-old national golfer has so far collected 15 amateur titles in local competitions since 2015.
She captured her first title in 2015, the Kelantan Amateur Open. Her first international title was the 2017 Singapore Junior Championship.
Winnie, who began playing golf at age seven, said: “I am thrilled and blessed to join the top players who have won.”
