SHAH ALAM: Selangor Pakatan Harapan (PH) has condemned attempts by certain quarters to destabilise the state with aim to split the component parties and jeopardise the Menteri Besar’s leadership.

Selangor PH secretary Borhan Aman Shah described the act to unseat Selangor Speaker Ng Suee Lim, to create disharmony and threaten the Selangor Menteri Besar’s position, as despicable.

“These are the evil agendas created by political enemies to create disunity and disharmony in Selangor PH.

“Despite that, we are determined to continue our work by implementing agenda to benefit the people and Selangor.

“Selangor PH will also give our fullest support and trust to Amirudin to ensure that the administration that he leads will soar to greater heights and ensure the prosperity of the state,” Borhan today.

He read out a joint statement by Selangor PH after its biennial monthly meeting held at Selangor Menteri Besar’s official residence in Section 7, here.

The two-hour meeting was chaired by Amirudin, who is Selangor PH chief and Selangor PKR chief.

Borhan said Selangor PH was also determined to ensure Selangor stays on track towards becoming a Premier Smart State by 2025 apart from prioritising agendas that empower the people in a bid to prepare them for the challenges ahead, especially from the socio-economic aspects.

“Efforts to ensure the implementation of policies that will boost the state’s economic growth and to defend the people’s wellbeing will continue.

“Therefore it is important the state’s peace, harmony and stabilisation are preserved for the sake of economic development and the people’s prosperity,” said Borhan.
