KUALA LUMPUR: PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) will temporarily close the route at the Yong Peng multi-level intersection (north) at KM99.30 North-South Expressway for a 29-day road upgrade from Oct 22 to Nov 19.

PLUS in a statement tonight said motorists from Johor Bahru are advised to use alternative routes to Yong Peng, Batu Pahat or Segamat.

“The first alternative is for users to exit via Yong Peng toll plaza (south) at KM 94.55, and use the federal road to Yong Peng/Batu Pahat/Segamat.

“As for the second alternative, users can exit via the Ayer Hitam toll plaza at KM 80.22, and use the federal road to Batu Pahat/Segamat,” the statement read.

However, the Yong Peng toll plaza (north) entry lane will be opened and operate normally for users heading to Johor Bahru or Kuala Lumpur.

PLUS also said that highway users from Kuala Lumpur can also exit via Yong Peng toll plaza (north) to Yong Peng, Batu Pahat or Segamat. — BERNAMA
