KUALA LUMPUR: A video clip of a man engaging in sexual activity while in Malaysian army uniform went viral on social media recently.

It is believed that the four-minute video was originally disseminated from a WhatsApp group for retired army personnel, Bernama reported.

A police report was lodged in northern Seberang Perai soon after the video clip emerged.

Speaking to reporters here on Friday, Army chief General Datuk Seri Ahmad Hasbullah Mohd Nawawi said action will be taken if the incident is proved to be genuine.

He added that soldiers who engage in “immoral activities” are not worthy of wearing the army uniform.

Earlier, the Public Affairs unit of the Malaysian Armed Forces headquarters said that they are investigating the matter.
