“Police urge those with information on their whereabouts should contact the nearest police station. This morning, we charged a suspect in the case at the Shah Alam magistrate’s court.

“Four others whom we arrested earlier have been released,” he told reporters at the state police headquarters after attending a ceremony for the handing over of duties for the state Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID) chief.

Asked about the motive behind Thiyahu’s murder, Mazlan declined comment.

“One suspect has been charged in court and we do not want to interfere with the court process.”
