A SMASH hit in Malaysia, Cartoon Network’s top-rated show, The Amazing World Of Gumball, helps us laugh away our Monday blues as we follow the misadventures of the extraordinary Watterson family who lives in Elmore.

It features a colourful and diverse cast of characters, including a 193cm pink rabbit, 4-year-old genius bunny, pet goldfish, tyrannosaurus rex,cheerleading peanut and a banana.

Gumball is a kid who faces the trials and tribulations of any 12-year-old,such as being chased by a rampaging T-Rex, having a robot steal his identity and dressing as a cheerleader to impress a girl he likes.

In the new season, Gumball and his family deal with life’s little problems and turns them into giant adventures.

This season, Gumball opens a cursed email, Darwin develops an allergy to his own family, the boys lose their voices, the kids get a dangerous new pet, Penny breaks out of her shell, a joy virus infects the whole school, Nicole fights her way through Mothers Day, The Wattersons go on a frightening vacation and we begin to discover the true and mysterious nature of Elmore. Normal just gets a little weird!

The Amazing World of Gumball is a five-time Bafta award-winning show created by Ben Bocquelet who conceived the idea in 2007 while working as a development artist for Cartoon Network Development Studio Europe. The characters are based on several characters from previous sketches he has created for commercials.

This series has garnered numerous awards around the world including honours from The International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (International Emmy Awards), Annecy International Animated Film Festival and Market and Asifa-Hollywood.

Tune in to Cartoon Network (Astro Channel 616) every Monday at 5pm and every weekdays at 6.30pm for The Amazing World of Gumball.
