KUALA LUMPUR: More than 300 guests attended the celebrations of the 87th birthday of Thailand’s King Bhumibol Adulyadej and the kingdom’s National Day at Royale Chulan Hotel Kuala Lumpur on Dec 5.

Guests included Thai nationals, expatriates, ambassadors, several Malaysian representatives and corporate clients.

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Senator Datuk Paul Low Seng Kuan gave a toast and made a wish for the king’s good health and well-being. Also present was Maj-Gen Datuk Wira Md Tajri Alwi.

There were cultural dance performances which showcased the history and traditions of Thailand. By C. Premananthini
