IPOH: The city’s adventure theme park, Lost World of Tambun (LWOT), has come to the aid of flood victims.

It has made a donation of necessities totaling RM10,000 to the victims.

The necessities were channeled to the Kuala Kangsar and Sungai Siput elected representatives for distribution.

LWOT assistant general manager Jasmy Othman said it was saddened by the recent tragedy that affected Perakians.

“We have colleagues and their extended family or families living in these areas. We hope to show care and concern for them through the effort,” he said.

Jasmy added that LWOT would also postpone its New Year celebration.

The Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah issued a decree for all entertainment-related New Year celebrations in the state, which involve the state government or any of its agencies, to be cancelled following the floods. By Sylvia Looi
