KUALA LUMPUR: One of the reasons behind the success of K-Pop boyband BTS is its stellar live performances.

But at the recent 2018 MGA Awards, the boys’ duet performance with international singer Charlie Puth left much to be desired.

Many questioned the reason behind the boys’ poor and shaky vocals when performing their hit song Fake Love at the awards show held at Namdong Gymnasium in Incheon on Nov 6.

According to a news report by allkpop yesterday, the performance failed to live up to expectations.

Many had noted that the group’s vocalists Jimin and V sounded “awful”, while others criticised them for lacking professionalism on stage.

For hardcore BTS fans, they stood by their idols and reasoned that the boys were not in top form since they had been performing in a string of concerts across the globe.

“They need to rest. Their voice is going to be in terrible condition if they continue singing non-stop like this,” said a Netizen.

Whatever the case, BTS continues to be loved by its ARMY troop (the band’s fandom) across the world.
