KUALA LUMPUR: Talk about getting right down to business. Barely 24 hours after Apple's big reveal in California, we now find out that Malaysians won't have to wait too long to experience their new releases ourselves.
A quick check on the Apple Malaysia store at www.apple.com/my/ shows that the new iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and top premium iPhone 11 Pro Max are listed to be available locally come Sept 27.
For reference, Malaysians usually have to wait a month at the very least, after the brand's international announcement before the phones make their way to our shores.
The 6.1-inch iPhone 11 will be priced from RM3,399 and comes in six colours for its 64GB, 128GB and 256GB variants.
While the iPhone 11 Pro (5.8-inch display) and iPhone 11 Pro Max (6.5-inch) will only sport four colours, the superior siblings will however sport three main cameras as opposed to the non-Pro's dual-lense setup.
The Pro models will come in 64GB, 256GB and 512GB capacity variants and are priced starting from RM4,899 to RM5,299.
All three variants of the series will run on Apple's latest A13 chipset.
Apple TV+ streaming service on the other hand will be available on Nov 1. Monthly subscription is priced at RM19.90 after a 7-day trial with terms and conditions appllied.
